As a designer, director, performer, and artist, I explore by pushing the limits of my practiced mediums. As a trans, queer, biracial Korean artist, I exist in the in-betweens, constantly migrating between communities and identity markers.

As an artist, I strive to make work that not only investigates my identity within societally negotiated binaries but also utilizes entertainment as a means for accessibility and engagement in deeper exploration, often resulting in work that walks the line between the figurative and absurd. As a theater maker, I use theater as a means of connecting with an audience. In exploring the creation of choice and action with an audience, I get to share with them the strange and weird world we live in together.

My multimedia practice is a refusal to be defined and restricted. Instead of trying to create within creative isolation, I compound and combine my skills and experience so that they show up in everything I do. I’m a problem solver. A mischief maker. A searcher.
